New Material

Since December we’ve been showcasing our new songs at our gigs around Nottingham. The feedback has been excellent and it’s been great to see these songs evolve and mature each time we play them. SMD sounds very different to how it did in the beginning – still dark but more energy in the verses.

We are very much looking forward to recording these songs in the near future. Keep checking back on the myspace for news.

Ending 2010 with a bang

After a little downtime over the last couple of months This Modern Life are in the studio on Saturday 18th December in Huddersfield to record a single for Christmas. Yes, you heard it here first…last year we had Rage Against The Machine at No. 1, this year it’s going to be … … …X Factor?

Then we are in Nottingham on Tuesday 21st December to end the year with a gig at The Maze, one of Nottingham’s great music venues.

Then…some exciting things coming in 2011…
